Getting Smarter at Auditing

There is a continuing debate on the pros and cons of social auditing. Labour advocates have pointed at the many weaknesses the dominant model of social auditing contains. To debate the growing crisis in social auditing, members of the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) - including Debenhams, Marks and Spencer, Asda, Tesco and Next - met to discuss what could be done. This report discusses what goes wrong, why does it go wrong and gives a number of recommendations on how companies can move forward. Download report here. (via clean clothes campaign)
